"Sports Law and the Sports Industry Are Growing Ostensibly"

Intellectual property attorney Danilo Romero was quoted in an Asuntos Legales article discussing sports law in Colombia. Despite the growth of the sports industry, the country still requires further development in the field to compete in markets like Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay and Mexico. As Mr. Romero highlights, sports law encompasses several legal needs, such as transfer payments, doping control systems, as well as disciplinary and punitive issues.

"The sports industry may require all kinds of legal needs: from conflict resolution to commercial contracts or tax matters," he said.
