Litigation attorney Adolfo Jimenez, who leads Holland & Knight's International Arbitration and Litigation Team, was quoted in a Daily Business Review article about Miami's rise as a hub for international arbitration cases. The article details the how the city's financial landscape, infrastructure and technology have made it competitive with New York City and London on seating cases in this space, inspiring many law firms to invest in the region. Mr. Jiménez explained why Holland & Knight is already well-positioned to excel in the market.
“Fortunately, we’re well-stocked,” said Mr. Jiménez. “We have a fair number of associates who are bilingual, we use them on the international arbitration side. Our firm has practitioners in New York, Washington, Austin, Dallas, Mexico and Bogotá. So we draw from each of those offices to basically buy support, we work across the platform a lot.”
