Holland & Knight Gets in on Trade Laterals with Export Expert
International Trade attorney Christopher Stagg was quoted in a Law360 article discussing his new position with Holland & Knight and the firm's growth in the U.S. export control and international trade sphere following the 2024 election. Mr. Stagg, who was a former senior policy advisor for the U.S. Department of State's Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, joined the Tysons, Virginia, office in November. He brings valuable experience in export control matters and litigation, as well as handling International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR). With this experience, Mr. Stagg said he believes he can help contribute to the firm's multidisciplinary approach to handling export control issues.
"Coming to Holland & Knight, when the opportunity presented itself, it just made sense from every single perspective out there," he said. "Holland & Knight has a great brand, they've got the right people, they've got the deep bench, they've got all of the perspectives."
