Rebuilding the Supply Chain
Public Policy & Regulation attorney Katie Inman was quoted in Inside Unmanned Systems examining new regulations aimed at bringing drone component manufacturing onshore, a shift expected to create short-term supply chain challenges while strengthening U.S. production, security and long-term market opportunity. Ms. Inman, who practices federal transportation law and regulatory compliance as well as Florida administrative law and land use matters, discussed how manufacturers had been reviewing records, reassessing equipment authorizations and planning for updates as the industry adapted to the changing regulatory landscape.
"When faced with a challenge, the U.S. typically meets the challenge and exceeds expectations. This is a perfect opportunity to do that. Industry can come out shining," she said.
