Holland & Knight Welcomes Latour Lafferty and Donald Bly to Tampa Office
Tampa, Fla. (March 11, 2014) – Holland & Knight is pleased to announce that attorneys Latour "LT" Lafferty and Donald R. Bly have joined the Tampa office as partners. Mr. Lafferty has joined the firm's litigation practice and Mr. Bly has joined the firm's real estate practice.

Mr. Lafferty was previously a shareholder with Fowler White Boggs and served as practice leader of the firm's white collar crime, government investigations, and corporate compliance and ethics practices. He is a former federal prosecutor who worked as an Assistant United States Attorney (AUSA) in Tampa for 10 years. He represents organizations and individuals in federal and state governmental investigations and proceedings involving all aspects of white collar regulatory enforcement and fraud, False Claims Act (FCA) litigation, and corporate compliance and ethics matters.
Mr. Lafferty currently serves as vice president and general counsel of the Boy Scouts of America Gulf Ridge Council's executive board. He also serves on the University of Tampa Center for Ethics advisory board. Mr. Lafferty is recognized as a leading attorney in the area of white collar crime and government investigations by Chambers USA, The Best Lawyers in America, Florida Trend's Legal Elite and Super Lawyers.
Mr. Bly focuses his practice on commercial real estate and related federal and state tax matters. His experience includes structuring and negotiating real estate joint ventures between Fortune 100 clients and large developers. Mr. Bly has advised real estate investment trusts (REITs), developers, tax-exempt organizations and non-U.S. investors on U.S. and non-U.S. real estate investments. He also advises clients in domestic and international hospitality matters.
Mr. Bly is a graduate of Leadership Tampa Bay and is recognized as a "Rising Star" by Super Lawyers magazine. Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Mr. Bly was a principal with Squire Sanders.
