Holland & Knight’s Chicago Office Honored by Lawyers for the Creative Arts for Pro Bono Work

CHICAGO (October 30, 2014) – Holland & Knight’s Chicago office received a Distinguished Service Award from Lawyers for the Creative Arts (LCA) for its work representing area artists in pro bono matters. Partner Robert Labate accepted the award on behalf of the firm.

“We regard our work on behalf of the Chicago area arts community as some of the most rewarding of all our volunteer activities,” said Mr. Labate. “We look forward to many more years of productive, if often challenging, work for LCA and its clients.”

Holland & Knight’s connection with LCA has spanned more than a decade, and among the many LCA clients that the firm has assisted are documentary film makers, producers and musicians, as well as others in the Chicago entertainment community. The award was presented at a luncheon on October 23.
