Holland & Knight Represents Teleflex in Acquisition of Z-Medica

PHILADELPHIA (January 4, 2021) – Holland & Knight advised Teleflex Incorporated (NYSE:TFX), a leading global provider for healthcare supplies and services, on its acquisition of Z-Medica, LLC, a portfolio company of Linden Capital Partners and DW Healthcare Partners. Teleflex acquired Z-Medica for an upfront cash payment of $500 million at closing, and up to $25 million upon the achievement of certain commercial milestones. The completion of the deal was announced on December 28.

Headquartered in Wayne, Pennsylvania, Teleflex is a global provider of medical technologies designed to improve the health and quality of people's lives. The company's diverse portfolio includes products in the fields of vascular access, interventional cardiology and radiology, anesthesia, emergency medicine, surgical, urology and respiratory care.

Z-Medica is a medical device manufacturer based in Wallingford, Connecticut that is focused on the development, sale and marketing of innovative hemorrhage control products.
