Chambers UK 2022 Guide Recommends Holland & Knight Aviation and Finance Lawyers and Practices

LONDON (October 26, 2021) – Chambers UK has recommended Holland & Knight in two practice areas with three lawyers listed as highly ranked individuals in their fields in its 2022 edition.

Holland & Knight is recognized among the top law firms in the Aviation category by the Chambers UK guide. Two of the firm's London-based lawyers, Partner Robert Ricketts and Senior Counsel Tim Murray, are individually ranked in the Aviation category.

Clients of the firm's London aviation team "benefit from international resources, particularly across the USA, on complex multi-jurisdictional matters," providing them "with a range of regulatory and commercial advice," noted Chambers. The UK guide cites Holland Knight's recent work for Braathens Aviation and its subsidiaries on its restructuring and administration in the UK, Sweden, Italy, France and Ireland.

According to Chambers, Mr. Ricketts is "widely acknowledged for his advice to airlines and lessors on purchase, leasing and financing matters," and "also assists with restructuring mandates." A client told Chambers that Mr. Ricketts "prioritises the clients' needs, providing pragmatic solutions and a hands-on approach."

Mr. Murray comes "highly recommended for his expertise in multi-jurisdictional contentious cases, including leasing and repossession disputes."

Meanwhile, Holland & Knight's Asset Finance: Aviation Finance practice is recommended for handling a "broad array of mandates," including experience in "cross-border matters."

London-based Partner Victoria Koob is individually ranked in the Aviation Finance category, with Chambers citing a client who said Ms. Koob "is very approachable and detail-oriented."

Chambers UK is designed to reflect market opinion through a year's worth of client and lawyer surveys. It is one in a series of Chambers and Partners' independent, objective and research-based guides to the legal profession around the world. The attributes assessed include technical legal ability, professional conduct, client service, commercial astuteness, diligence, commitment and other qualities valued by clients.
