Dahesh Patel Joins Holland & Knight's Global Private Wealth Services Group in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (February 7, 2022) – Holland & Knight's Global Private Wealth Services Group has welcomed Dahesh Patel as a partner in the firm's Philadelphia office. Mr. Patel focuses his practice on estate planning, general taxation and estate administration for clients in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He was previously a partner with Reed Smith.

Mr. Patel has a wealth of experience helping devise and implement family succession planning for both professionals and owners of closely held business organizations. He also has helped numerous Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organizations obtain and maintain their tax-exempt status.

"We are very pleased to add Dahesh to our ultra-high-net-worth planning practice on the East Coast, where we already have considerable strength," said David Scott Sloan, co-leader of Holland & Knight's Global Private Wealth Services Group. "In addition to Pennsylvania and New York, Dahesh is admitted in New Jersey, which is helpful as several of our New York City-based clients physically reside in New Jersey."

"We have been wanting to hire an ultra-high-net-worth planning attorney in this office for some time and are confident that Dahesh will be very successful," said Chris Boyett, co-leader with Mr. Sloan of Holland & Knight's Global Private Wealth Services Group.

As the largest private wealth services practice in the United States, Holland & Knight's Global Private Wealth Services Group represents high-net-worth individuals, closely held and family businesses, family offices, nonprofit and tax-exempt organizations, educational institutions, banks and trust companies. In 2021, 19 Holland & Knight attorneys were named leading advisers to wealthy individuals and families in the Chambers High Net Worth guide.
