Holland & Knight Advises Banco Multiva on $22 Million Loan to the Mexican State of Coahuila

MEXICO CITY (March 29, 2023) – Holland & Knight represented Banco Multiva, a full-service bank, on two loans to the Mexican State of Coahuila. The deal closed on March 29, 2023 and is valued at US$22 million (approximately MXN$450 million).

Banco Multiva was selected as a lender by the state through a competitive bidding process. The State of Coahuila will use the credit to cover short-term needs and temporary liquidity shortages. The loans were granted pursuant to the law on financial discipline for federal entities and municipalities.
