Holland & Knight Advises Fibra UNO on $600 Million Senior Unsecured Green Bond Issuance
MEXICO CITY (February 9, 2024) – Holland & Knight advised Fibra UNO (BMV: FUNO11) on its senior unsecured green bond placement for US$600 million, the first of its kind issued by a Mexican real estate investment trust (REIT). The bond is placed at par with a coupon of 7.375 percent and a final bullet maturity of 10 years in February 2034. The placement took place on February 7.
BBVA, BofA Securities and Santander acted as global coordinators of the issuance. Citigroup, Goldman Sachs, HSBC, J.P. Morgan and Scotiabank acted as joint bookrunners; Banco Sabadell and Actinver as co-managers; and BofA Securities as green structuring agent.
Based in Mexico City, Fibra UNO is the first Mexican real estate investment trust and the biggest in Latin America.
