Chrystie Holmstrom, Former Chief Legal Counsel of Alpine Summit Energy Partners, Joins Holland & Knight

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (May 16, 2024) – Holland & Knight welcomes Chrystie Holmstrom as a partner in the Corporate – Mid South Practice Group in Nashville. Most recently, Ms. Holmstrom was chief legal officer at Alpine Summit Energy Partners Inc., a U.S.-based energy developer and financial company.

Ms. Holmstrom’s corporate practice focuses on sophisticated family offices, family businesses and startup businesses in addition to general corporate work. With two decades of corporate and family office experience, she has handled work in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), private equity, investment funds, corporate governance and compliance.

While at Alpine Summit, Ms. Holmstrom managed all securities offerings and financing transactions for the company, including a cross-border public listing/reverse takeover transaction on the TSX Venture Exchange and domestic listing on NASDAQ. Earlier in her career, Ms. Holmstrom was general counsel for Ziff Brothers Investments LLC, advising a private family investment company and its related family office.

Ms. Holmstrom earned a J.D. degree from Harvard Law School, an M.A. degree from Clare College, University of Cambridge and a B.A. degree from Yale College.
