Holland & Knight Advises Partners Telecom Colombia S.A.S. in Successful Reorganization

BOGOTÁ (July 28, 2025) – Holland & Knight advised Partners Telecom Colombia S.A.S. (WOM), one of Colombia's leading wireless communications companies, in its reorganization under Law 1116. The reorganization agreement was approved on July 17.

The approved agreement includes a 10-year payment plan. It also provides special conditions for the company's financial obligations to government entities, particularly Colombia's Ministry of Information Technologies and Communications (MinTIC), which will extend up to 18 years.

As legal counsel to the debtor, Holland & Knight attorneys guided WOM through each stage of the reorganization process, including managing a number of creditors and customers, to ensure business continuity and avoid judicial liquidation.

Headquartered in Bogotá, WOM has nearly 7 million users in the Colombian mobile phone market.
