BOGOTÁ (December 12, 2025) – Holland & Knight acted as legal counsel to the Inter-American Investment Corporation (IDB Invest) on the subscription of COP$80 billion (approximately US$20.7 million) as part of a local public offering of the first Amazonia Bond to be issued in the Colombian Stock Exchange (Bolsa de Valores de Colombia). The proceeds of this offering are earmarked by Bancamía S.A., a local financial entity, for the promotion of sustainable initiatives that seek the preservation and proper use of natural resources of the Colombian amazon region.

It is also the first bond issued that meets the Amazonia Bond Issuance Guidelines issued by IDB Invest and the World Bank. The bond has a maturity of four years, with bullet payment.

IDB Invest is a multilateral development bank committed to promoting the economic development of its member countries in Latin America and the Caribbean through the private sector.
