Juan Felipe Fontecha Mejía

Juan Felipe Fontecha Mejía is a corporate attorney in Holland & Knight's Bogotá office and focuses his practice on capital markets transactions, as well as financial and securities regulation.

Mr. Fontecha has experience in initial public offerings (IPOs), securities offerings, securitizations, environmental, social and governance (ESG) finance, the formation and operation of financial institutions, financial technology (FinTech), digital assets, open finance, as well as banking and finance law.

Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Mr. Fontecha was an attorney at the Financial Superintendence of Colombia, the country's banking and capital markets regulator. He also worked at a recognized local bank.
