Loren Higgins Named New Leader of Holland & Knight in San Francisco
SAN FRANCISCO (March 12, 2026) – Holland & Knight has named Loren Higgins executive partner of its San Francisco office. Ms. Higgins will oversee the day-to-day management of the office while continuing to manage her practice, which focuses on representing financial institutions in all aspects of real estate secured financing transactions. She succeeds Tamsen Plume, who served as executive partner of the Firm's San Francisco office for 10 years and will become the deputy practice group leader for the Firm's West Coast Land Use and Environment Group.

Ms. Higgins has been with Holland & Knight for nearly eight years and serves as co-chair of the Firm's Healthcare Finance Team. She primarily focuses on the financing of specialty real estate assets, including medical office buildings, senior housing and skilled nursing facilities, hospitals, life science facilities and other healthcare assets, wineries and vineyards, orchards, timberlands, renewable energy projects, self-storage facilities and sports arenas.
Ms. Higgins is a fellow of the American College of Mortgage Attorneys. She earned her J.D. degree from Harvard Law School and her B.A. degree from Washington and Lee University.
