Holland & Knight Grows Regulatory Practice Group with Addition of Jill Keller Hengen in Atlanta

ATLANTA (June 22, 2026) – Holland & Knight has bolstered its Regulatory Practice Group with the addition of Partner Jill Keller Hengen in Atlanta. Ms. Hengen focuses her practice on managing internal, global and government-facing investigations across a broad spectrum of matters, with substantial experience in the life sciences and healthcare sectors. She was most recently of counsel with Jones Day.

"As regulatory scrutiny intensifies across industries, particularly in healthcare and life sciences, clients need advisors who can manage risk from every angle. Jill's experience handling complex, global investigations and her background working at the intersection of law and public policy position her to guide clients through these challenges," said Karen Walker, leader of the Firm's Government Section. "She will play an instrumental role in continuing to build our investigations and compliance capabilities in Atlanta and beyond."

Ms. Hengen's practice spans matters before the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), U.S. Congress and other enforcement authorities involving fraud, corruption, sanctions and export controls, securities laws, environmental, social and governance (ESG) matters, corporate governance and human rights issues. Her portfolio of work includes extensive experience in government affairs, crisis management and proactive compliance reviews, as well as investigations involving accounting fraud, national security, environmental compliance and problematic conduct by public company officers. She has worked to strengthen and build corporate compliance programs regarding anticorruption, privacy, trade, workplace culture and ESG.

"Holland & Knight's strength at the intersection of regulatory, public policy and investigations work is a natural fit for my practice," Ms. Hengen said. "I'm excited to join a team that takes a multidisciplinary approach to helping clients navigate complex enforcement and compliance challenges, and to contribute to the Firm's growth in Atlanta."

Ms. Hengen's government relations experience positions her to take a multifaceted approach to investigations that involve the legal and policy arenas. She helps clients navigate the political and reputational challenges that may arise during investigations and crafts strategies that account for related media and public scrutiny. Ms. Hengen has been ranked as "Up and Coming" in the Litigation: White-Collar Crime & Government Investigations category by Chambers USA since 2025.

Ms. Hengen received a J.D. degree from Georgetown University Law Center and a B.A. degree from Cornell University. She is admitted to practice in Georgia, Maryland and the District of Columbia.
