Holland & Knight Welcomes White Collar Defense Partner Allison Borgatti in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (June 2, 2026) – Holland & Knight continues to strengthen its Philadelphia Litigation Practice Group with the addition of Allison "Allie" Borgatti as partner. Ms. Borgatti is an international white collar defense attorney who assists corporations and individuals, domestic and foreign, in all facets and stages of state, federal and corporate compliance investigations. Prior to joining Holland & Knight, she was a partner at Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney and previously worked as an assistant district attorney at the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office, including in its homicide unit.

The addition of Ms. Borgatti follows the recruitment of Philadelphia Litigation Partners Siobhan Cole and Meredith Auten earlier this year.

Ms. Borgatti's practice focuses on white collar criminal defense, internal investigations and complex civil matters often related to criminal or quasi-criminal charges or fraudulent conduct. Drawing on extensive and varied litigation experience, her clients include boards of directors, corporations and ultra-high-net-worth individuals.

"We are thrilled to welcome Allie to the Firm," said John Grugan, leader of Holland & Knight's Philadelphia Litigation Practice Group. "She brings a sophisticated white collar practice built on close client relationships, as well as deep experience handling high-stakes investigations and enforcement matters. Equally impressively, Allie is an accomplished trial lawyer. Her background as a former prosecutor and her strong connections within Pennsylvania's enforcement community further strengthen our ability to advise clients facing complex and sensitive government matters."

In her global practice, Ms. Borgatti has defended clients in criminal and regulatory actions, including those involving allegations of insider trading, government contracting fraud and violations of the securities laws and Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA). Her clients include Fortune 500 companies and their executives as well as high-ranking government officials in matters such as anti-corruption, economic sanctions and financial services fraud. Ms. Borgatti also is experienced in defending healthcare fraud claims, including her representation of a foreign national accused of involvement in the largest healthcare fraud in the United States.

"I'm excited to join Holland & Knight and continue building my practice," Ms. Borgatti said. "I was drawn to the Firm's strength in white collar matters and the opportunity to work alongside a team that is deeply engaged in this space. I also am excited about the growth of the Philadelphia office and the community of lawyers there."

Ms. Borgatti was named a "Power Player" by The Legal Intelligencer in 2023 and was among the Philadelphia Business Journal's "Best of the Bar" in 2022.

Ms. Borgatti received a J.D. degree from Rutgers Law School and a B.A. degree from Franklin & Marshall College. She is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York.
