Holland & Knight Fortifies Litigation Practice with Addition of Former Federal Prosecutor Erik Siebert in Virginia
Richmond, Va. (February 9, 2026) – Holland & Knight has strengthened its litigation practice in Virginia with the addition of Erik S. Siebert as a partner in Richmond. Mr. Siebert previously served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney and Interim U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia.
Mr. Siebert's practice will focus on government investigations, white collar defense and complex civil litigation. He has prosecuted complex cases, including fraud, public corruption, national security, racketeering and money laundering. Mr. Siebert has also argued cases before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and drafted appellate briefs addressing significant legal matters.

While serving as a federal prosecutor, Mr. Siebert handled both civil and criminal litigation matters, leading a team of approximately 300 prosecutors, civil litigators and support staff across four divisions located in Alexandria, Richmond, Norfolk and Newport News and serving more than 6 million residents. During his 16-year career in the Richmond Division, he also served as deputy criminal supervisor.

Mr. Siebert received a J.D. degree from the University of Richmond School of Law and a B.A. degree from Virginia Military Institute.
