Anebi Xavier Adoga

Anebi Xavier Adoga is a corporate lawyer in Holland & Knight's Washington, D.C. office. Mr. Adoga represents and counsels public and private companies across several industries regarding a variety of corporate matters and commercial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), corporate governance matters, bank regulatory matters, corporate restructuring, equity and debt-financing, securities filings and compliance protocols.

In addition, Mr. Adoga's practice encompasses cross-border commercial transactions, as well as advising clients regarding the Foreign Corrupt Practice Act (FCPA) and the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS).

Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Mr. Adoga practiced law at another large international law firm where he represented clients spanning various industries, especially in the technology, medical and defense sectors. In 2020, Mr. Adoga was part of a deal team that facilitated the acquisition of $2.1 billion in assets on behalf of a multinational defense company.

Mr. Adoga also maintains a vibrant pro bono practice and has successfully represented an individual in proceedings before the U.S. Social Security Administration, and served as outside general counsel to domestic and international nonprofit organizations.
