Overview
Jessica Berkowitz is a corporate attorney in Holland & Knight's Dallas office who advises private equity sponsors, growth equity and venture capital investors, and public and private companies on a broad range of complex corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), private equity transactions and other commercial matters. She delivers practical, business-oriented counsel to help clients execute transactions efficiently and align legal strategies with broader business objectives.
Ms. Berkowitz's practice spans a variety of industries, with particular experience representing clients in technology, infrastructure, energy and software-focused businesses. Her experience includes acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and minority investments, cross-fund transactions and other sophisticated strategic arrangements.
Ms. Berkowitz also supports the Legal Services Transactions Team by advising on legal services transactions, including law firm management services organization (MSO) structuring, alternative business structures (ABS) and private equity investment into law firms.
Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Ms. Berkowitz was a partner at a large international law firm, where she developed experience across M&A, private equity and complex commercial transactions.
