Overview

Isaac F. Fuhrman is a business attorney in Holland & Knight's Miami office and a member of the firm's Corporate Services Team. Mr. Fuhrman focuses his practice on mergers and acquisition (M&A), private equity and other general corporate matters.

While in law school, Mr. Fuhrman was a member of the University of Miami Law Review. Additionally, Mr. Fuhrman was a law clerk within the financial services regulatory group of a national law firm, and served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Jonathan Goodman of the U.S. District Court of the Southern District of Florida.

Prior to law school, Mr. Fuhrman was a senior consultant with the advisory practice of a large accounting firm, where he focused on regulatory matters for the financial services industry.

Representative Experience

  • Represented a Central American leader in the production and commercialization of steel-derived products in its acquisition of steel wire solutions businesses in Costa Rica, Ecuador and Venezuela from a Belgium-based global market and technology leader in material science of steel wire transformation and coating technologies
  • Represented Walter Shuffain, a Massachusetts-based accounting firm known for its commitment to helping private businesses and the affluent reach their ideals, in its sale to Ascend, a strategic partner for regional accounting and advisory firms and a portfolio company of Alpine Investors
  • Represented Bay Path University, an independent and not-for-profit institution located in Massachusetts, in its acquisition of Cambridge College, a private, nonprofit institution and a leader in providing affordable career-oriented education to a diverse population of adult learners
  • Represented Resolve Marine, a global leader in vessel salvage, emergency response, compliance and specialized marine services, in the sale of its harbor towing operations in Gibraltar to Boluda Towage Europe, the Spain-based division of Boluda Corporación Marítima that focuses its activity on port, coastal and offshore towage, and its marine services business to Elias Tapiero of ORC Marine
