Davidson Lentz

Davidson Lentz is an attorney in Holland & Knight's Nashville office and a member of the Corporate Services Team. Mr. Lentz advises privately held and publicly traded companies across a broad range of industries, with an emphasis on corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), joint ventures, divestitures and other strategic transactions.

Mr. Lentz regularly counsels private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies in the sale and acquisition of healthcare businesses and practices, including healthcare management service organizations (MSOs), dental service organizations (DSOs), medical device and technology companies, and hospital systems. His experience also extends to transactions involving multi-specialty and single-specialty medical practices in areas such as dentistry, behavioral health, radiology, otolaryngology (ENT), dermatology and ophthalmology.

Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Mr. Lentz gained extensive commercial litigation and cybersecurity law experience in the Nashville office of a large regional law firm. In this role, Mr. Lentz represented businesses in complex commercial disputes and helped companies navigate the rapidly evolving data privacy and cybersecurity regulatory landscape. Previously, he worked at the Supreme Court of Tennessee, Tennessee Attorney General's Office and a Fortune 10 company. These experiences enable him to bring a comprehensive perspective to the evaluation and mitigation of risk in corporate transactions, particularly for clients operating in highly regulated industries.
