Paulina López

Paulina López Velazco is a corporate attorney in Holland & Knight's Mexico City office, where her practice focuses on corporate law, financial law and international arbitration. Ms. López Velazco has experience in a wide variety of domestic and international matters, including cross-border transactions, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), structured financings, debt restructurings and project financings.

Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Ms. López Velazco worked at two prominent law firms, where she focused on general corporate matters, infrastructure projects and financings, and criminal litigation.

In the community, Ms. López Velazco has actively represented pro bono clients in connection with obtaining project structuring to improve tax and foundation service delivery systems, among others.

Drawing on her professional experience as a corporate lawyer and litigator, Ms. López Velazco frequently collaborates with the firm's dispute resolution team to advise banks, trustees and bondholders in bankruptcy and restructuring proceedings.
