Alejandro Marín is an attorney in Holland & Knight's Mexico City office. Mr. Marín focuses his practice on the energy sector, with particular experience in the upstream and midstream oil and gas segments, as well as the power industry and renewable energy. Mr. Marín has experience representing clients in high-stakes commercial disputes, particularly in national and international arbitration proceedings under the rules of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA) and Center for Mediation and Commercial Arbitration (CANACO). His dispute resolution practice is based on previous roles with major law firms and energy companies, including as a senior legal counsel in the biggest renewable energy generation portfolio in Mexico and as a deputy arbitration attorney for the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE), where he handled international arbitration cases and negotiated energy agreements.
