John S. Orton

John Orton is a Texas real estate attorney who has more than 45 years of experience advising financial institutions in a wide variety of lending situations, including all phases of residential lending, construction lending and commercial real estate lending. He focuses his practice on atypical, challenging real estate transactions, particularly for wealthy individuals and private banks, including jumbo construction and residential loans; commercial real estate loans heavily dependent on the financial strength of individuals; and purchase and sale of properties, including condominiums and vacation homes.
