Overview

Yared Salgado is an international financial services attorney in Holland & Knight's Mexico City office. Mr. Salgado has more than a decade of experience in Mexico, Latin America and the United States representing private and governmental institutions.

Mr. Salgado has a wide range of knowledge in banking and finance, including regulatory matters, project development and finance, structured and leveraged finance, acquisition finance, capital markets, corporate services, cross-border transactions, and other business and financial transactions in Latin America. Mr. Salgado focuses his practice on relevant industry sectors such as energy, oil and gas, power generation, telecommunications, water, mining, toll roads and real estate.

Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Mr. Salgado worked as an international associate in the capital markets, and project development and finance practice groups of an international law firm in New York.

Mr. Salgado also has extensive experience in Mexico's public sector. Prior to entering private practice, he served as a deputy director-general of authorizations for the financial system for the Mexican financial regulator, and as a project finance deputy legal director for two of the largest Mexican development banks.
