Margarita Solorza

Margarita Solorza is a Bogotá attorney who focuses her practice on energy and environmental matters in the corporate law and litigation arenas. Ms. Solorza is well-versed in environmental regulatory and compliance matters. She has extensive experience in the energy industry, including advising one of the 10 oil-and-gas supermajors in Colombia.

Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Ms. Solorza served as legal counsel at an oil and gas company where she advised on upstream and midstream businesses, as well as various environmental law matters. She also participated in corporate reorganizations.

In addition, Ms. Solorza served as a litigation coordinator for a boutique environmental law firm where she gained significant experience assisting clients in the energy, mining, oil and gas, infrastructure, manufacturing and food industries. She also organized and led environmental law training classes for clients.
