Overview
Christine Younger is a tax attorney in Holland & Knight's Nashville office whose practice focuses on U.S. transactional tax matters. Ms. Younger advises clients on the tax aspects of a wide variety of complex business transactions and provides support through every stage of a deal – from structuring and due diligence to execution and post-closing integration – helping them achieve efficient, practical and defensible tax outcomes.
Known for her business-minded approach and technical acumen, Ms. Younger partners with clients to navigate the intersection of tax law and deal strategy, translating sophisticated tax concepts into clear, actionable advice that drives transactions forward.
Her experience includes:
- advising on and negotiating mergers and acquisitions (M&A), joint ventures, divestitures and reorganizations
- structuring and documenting equity and debt financings, including private credit, mezzanine, hybrid instruments and leveraged financings
- counseling clients on partnership matters such as the formation of limited liability companies (LLCs) and other "pass-through" entities, including drafting and negotiating operating agreements, as well as structuring tax-efficient capital investments and incentive equity arrangements
- supporting real estate investment trust (REIT) and real estate investment clients on tax-sensitive structuring, acquisitions, dispositions and financings
- navigating and anticipating tax issues for venture capital, growth-stage investments, portfolio company transactions and sponsor exits
- assisting with tax due diligence, integration planning and post-closing tax structuring
Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Ms. Younger gained valuable experience as a tax associate for an international law firm in its New York office.
