Stacy Byrd Thomas

Stacy Byrd Thomas is an attorney in Holland & Knight's Business Law Section. Based in Florida, Ms. Thomas counsels private equity, venture capital, real estate and fund-of-funds clients across all major markets, with a focus on formation, operation and maintenance of private investment partnerships from a legal, regulatory and tax perspective. Such representations include counseling investment advisers in marketing and capital raising matters, including the negotiation of side letters and preferential terms with anchor investors and strategic partners.   

Ms. Thomas also has extensive experience representing investors, including family office clients and institutional investors, in reviewing and negotiating terms of investments in private investment funds, co-investment vehicles and other alternative investment vehicles.
