House Panel Seeks to Extend Medicare Pay Provisions

The House Ways and Means Committee announced to renew short-term funding provisions indicating that provider rates should be adjusted.
Senior Policy Advisor Miranda Franco, however, praised the Ways and Means Committee for moving forward with plans to cover telehealth services under Medicare Advantage, which were included as part of the offsets. “I believe this bill is an important step in recognizing the promise of telehealth,” Ms. Franco said.
