Please join Holland & Knight Partner Timothy Taylor, who recently served as the deputy general counsel for the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL), for a discussion about what employers should know and do to prepare for the shifting enforcement and regulatory priorities of this major federal agency.

Mr. Taylor will highlight a "Top 10" list of critical changes requiring adaptation by employers during the coming year.

Topics include:

  • What's next for COVID-19 workplace safety: OSHA's vaccine mandate is dead, but other aspects of federal and state COVID-19 enforcement regimes are alive and kicking
  • The DOL's plans for stepping up enforcement across the board and what employers can do to be ready
  • The DOL's major planned regulatory changes for 2022, potentially including a higher overtime threshold and changes to Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) fiduciary duties
  • How government contractors in particular can keep their employment practices above-board in very choppy regulatory waters
