CTA Declared Unconstitutional
March 11, 2024
12:00 PM - 1:00 PM ET

On March 1, 2024, in National Small Business United, d/b/a the National Small Business Association, et al. v. Yellen, et al., a federal judge in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Alabama entered a final declaratory judgment, concluding that the Corporate Transparency Act (CTA) exceeds the Constitution's limits on Congress' power and enjoining the U.S. Department of the Treasury and the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) from enforcing the CTA against the plaintiffs.

The Treasury Department will likely appeal the court's order and ask for a stay pending appeal.

We hope you can join us for this highly informative presentation, where we'll discuss the case in detail and explore how stakeholders impacted by the CTA should consider proceeding.

There will be a Q&A session following the presentation.
