FOCI Mitigation and Oversight and Intersection of Trade and Updates to SF-328

International Trade attorney Andrew McAllister will be speaking at the Society for International Affairs' 2025 Fall Advanced Conference. His panel will discuss how post-transaction investment restrictions are continuously updated and scrutinized as a result of the current geopolitical environment. Speakers will also provide an overview of the various investment restrictions, such as Foreign Ownership, Control or Influence (FOCI) mitigation and recent updates to the SF-328 form. They will additionally cover considerations for compliance and the role of trade compliance professionals in effectively meeting the government's requirements.
