Data strategy and privacy attorney Rachel Marmor will speak at UT Law CLE's 39th Annual Technology Law Conference, taking place in Austin, Texas. The yearly program brings together nationally recognized technology and licensing practitioners, in-house counsel from leading tech companies, and data privacy, security and emerging technology professionals to share insights on the trends and developments affecting the sector. The 2026 iteration will feature presentations on artificial intelligence (AI) and related state/federal policy updates, emerging litigation risks and compliance strategies, ethics and professional responsibility obligations with regard to modern technology implementation, and more. Ms. Marmor's panel will offer a practical guide to implementing effective AI governance within an organization. She will explain how to design clear, workable policies to support responsible AI use, encourage adoption of new tools, and manage the legal, ethical and compliance implications of doing so. Attendees will take away actionable frameworks to build governance and accountability structures sufficiently tailored to their companies while also being aligned with industry-wide best practices and leaving room for innovation and adaptation.

Holland & Knight is proud to sponsor this conference. In addition to Ms. Marmor, the firm is participating through data privacy attorney Bart Huffman's service on the event planning committee.
