This premier gathering brings together transportation lawyers, industry leaders and professionals from across North America to discuss legal, regulatory and commercial developments affecting the industry, while offering valuable opportunities for connection and collaboration across the sector.
Maritime attorney Allison Skopec will discuss how the Jones Act influences multimodal transportation, including its effects on routing, port operations and supply chain strategy. International Trade attorney Sophie Jin will address legal and compliance factors shaping trade and investment among the United States, Mexico and Canada, including issues related to the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA), customs, tariffs and regional supply chains. Maritime attorney Ashleigh Higgs will share insights on current developments in the maritime sector, while transportation attorneys Kristine Little and Jameson Rice will cover updates involving the trucking industry. Ms. Little will additionally moderate a session featuring members of the Surface Transportation Board, who will talk about current matters affecting the rail industry and the agency's role in regulating surface transportation.
