Export Compliance Seminar: ITAR, EAR & OFAC Export Controls

International Trade attorney Matt Rosenbaum will serve as an instructor for a four-day export compliance training seminar offered by the Export Compliance Training Institute. Taking place in Chicago, the program will encompass the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and U.S. Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC). Applicable to new and experienced export compliance professionals alike, the seminar will cover topics including how to determine which agency has authority over a transaction, how to request an official classification, Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) license application requirements and submission, foreign trade regulations, compliance program structuring, OFAC sanctions updates, embargo controls and regulatory enforcement.
