Navigating Quantum's Legal Framework
Quantum World Congress (QWC) 2026
4th Floor
College Park, Maryland 20740
Quantum Computing Team Co-Chair Paul Stimers will speak at Quantum World Congress 2026, a premier forum where global leaders converge to advance quantum innovation, commercialization and collaboration. Paul will address the legal and policy considerations influencing the U.S. quantum sector, including the international race for patents on quantum technology, post-quantum cryptography (PQC) requirements and recent executive orders on quantum research and development, competition issues involving mergers and acquisitions, and the needs of emerging companies. Drawing on his experience advocating for quantum technology companies before Congress and federal agencies, he will offer perspectives on how businesses can protect innovation, respond to government action and pursue growth in a rapidly advancing market, particularly as quantum developments move closer toward commercial use.
