Following the release of the first of three reports by the Section 809 Panel, Eric Crusius wrote an article for Federal News Radio on the strengths of the current bid protest system, highlighting issues within the proposed changes. The Department of Defense-appointed Section 809 Panel was created in the 2016 National Defense Authorization (NDAA) to help improve and streamline Department acquisition across the government.
