The article comes after the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services released a letter and fact sheet encouraging states to pursue these options as part of the Healthy Adult Opportunity, a new funding initiative that allows states to use Medicaid funds to offer coverage for adults under 65 who would not other qualify.
