The European Energy Crunch and the U.S. Clean Energy Economy

Partners Meital Stavinsky and Todd Wooten co-authored an article in RealClearEnergy about the European energy crisis and the increased need for renewable energy.  Energy plays a pivotal role in geopolitics which is reflected in the current Russia-Ukraine crisis. Energy tax incentives could be essential for further development of energy efficient technologies. The delayed implementation of Biden's Build Back Better's climate plan provides an opportunity to amend the energy investment tax credit (ITC) provision and broaden it. The ITC has been a strong driver for the rapid deployment of wind and solar energy and would achieve the same success for energy storage.
