Regarding the Approval of the Escazú Agreement
Environment attorney María Camila Aponte published a column in Asuntos Legales analyzing the Escazú Agreement, an international environmental treaty to which Colombia is a party. Ms. Aponte explains that this treaty establishes three pillars of environmental democracy: the right to access to environmental information, the right to environmental participation and the right to environmental justice.
