The Reform Proposes to Modify the Dismissal With Just Cause

Employment attorneys Camilo García and Jimena Nieto published an article in AmCham's Business Mail magazine about the labor reform bill filed by the National Government of Colombia that proposes a modification to a policy of the Substantive Labor Code. The bill aims to establish a process for imposing disciplinary sanctions and also requires the same procedure to be exhausted when dismissing an employee with just cause. The attorneys explain in the article different situations that must be addressed if the reform is approved.
