Bloomberg Law

Government Contracts Attorney Eric Crusius spoke with Bloomberg Law on the two nominees likely to be confirmed this week to the Court of Federal Claims. The two nominees shift the political majority to Republican on a court that handles claims related to government contracts and property seizures. Mr. Crusius discussed with Bloomberg Law on how the potential political effect of Trump appointees is less significant than how they can affect the court's caseload.

"I have never had an instance in which a judge could not meet the parties' desired schedule for resolving a protest, the addition of two new judges will help to lighten the workload and enable the court to turn decisions around expeditiously," Mr. Crusius said.
