How Tampa Bay Area Investors Evaluate Their Next Big Deal

Attorney Alyse Latour participated in an roundtable discussion hosted by The Tampa Bay Business Journal.  The program focused on the mergers and acquisitions activity in the Tampa Bay area. 

"Well, if you got a big private equity firm that buys out a company and they've got their own counsel and they're based in New York, they're going to be looking to their counsel to be representing and making decisions as they go forward on those transactions. So the companies that may have been here or doing deals here in this area now are going to be — decision making is going to be at a different level," said Ms. Latour, when discussing private equity buyers seeking legal counsel and how it impacts their decision making process.
