K Street Eyes a Return of Earmarks To Boost Business

In an interview with Roll Call about the possible resurrection of the long-debated congressional earmarks, Government Section Leader and earmark advocate Rich Gold noted that the lobbyists on his side of the argument have put in a lot of time and effort into fixing some of their main problems. However, he further noted that these efforts haven't seen much in return as "lawmakers haven’t reached out to anybody I can tell who has a lot of expertise in this area."
