Holland & Knight Snags Hogan Lovells Partner to Lead Real Estate Funds Group
Corporate attorney Olesya Bakar was interviewed by Reuters about her decision to move to Holland & Knight to lead its Real Estate Fund Formation practice. She brings more than 20 years of experience advising public and private companies and said Holland & Knight's plans to expand its real estate funds practice influenced her decision to join the firm.
"Texas has been an attractive state from a real estate perspective," Ms. Bakar said. "Several of my clients are expanding their investments into Texas, so I do think this is an additional opportunity for the client base that Holland & Knight already has and for my clients as well."
