Port of Savannah Growth Delivers Real Estate Boom

Atlanta Real Estate attorney Nellie Sullivan spoke with Law360 about the growth Savannah, Georgia, is experiencing in the metro area due to port expansion projects. The Port of Savannah recently announced a multibillion-dollar commercial project that is attracting the attention of workers and other businesses migrating to the state. Ms. Sullivan commented that it is vital for the region to keep attracting new residents and workers to fill those new jobs.

"You need enough workers there that when the companies come, when the port expands, when those things are going on, you've got people there to fill those jobs," she said. "Looking at what kinds of things are happening there, it's both attracting workers and jobs, and that's the healthiest economy you can have."
