Intellectual Property, an Asset to Protect

Intellectual Property attorney Danilo Romero Raad was cited in an article published by Semana about the application of intellectual property protection to digital assets. Mr. Romero highlighted that in recent years the protection of works and new digital creations supported by the blockchain has skyrocketed. Blockchain technology allows authors and title holders to guarantee the authenticity of goods because it serves as a verifiable chain tool. However, he cautioned that Colombia regulations have not yet explicitly recognized these tools.
