Do You Want to Disconnect from Your Boss at Work? This Is What You Can Do in Your Whatsapp Chat.

Vanguardia
Labor attorney Camilo Cuervo was cited in an article by Vanguardia that explains how employees can disconnect from their work following a decision by the Constitutional Court that determined that disconnection from work is a human right. The article goes over ways in which employees can disconnect from their work when on break and discusses the specifics of the law as well as its exceptions. Mr. Cuervo offered his perspective that the law should also have restrictions.

“What the Court says is that every right has exceptions and every power, especially those that include the subordination of the employer with respect to the worker, has limits. Because regardless of whether the law determines that a trusted, management and direction employee can be contacted during their breaks, it is also true that this right must have restrictions,” he said.
